Yep that is true. I normally put GA after, but since you were from GA that you would know of us in the NW.

Thanks for yourcmment. Yes I am a pro transportation consultant and safety is part of myjob. What ticks me off it eh amount of money we spend to make things safe fro pedestriansa and cyclists only to have them do their own thing. We recently impproved a roadwy here in Tamp by adding medians and mid-block crossings with flashers. The blocks are not that long and it is only about 100-150 feet at most between the mid block crossing and the intersections. I was on it the other day and a woman was pushing a baby stroller with one hand and had a 2-3 year old in the other and she was cross less than 50 ft from the mid block cross walk. I guess stupid is as stupid does.

"...the utility company's here in GA being against this, why don't they jump on the bandwagon?" They're in a bind: They have the huge cost of generating equipment that is on-line, idling, so-to-speak when the sun shines, but has to take up the load immediately during non-sun times. Their peaking generators are usually gas fired so the Gas Companies support solar.

Argh, yesterday was to have been your 400th CD. Happens to most at one time or the other. Some more than others. David......... QQ

I agree with your post, but I think the entire world is too weak to do anything. Obama won't lead and no other country will take over America's leadership role. We'll all just sit back and watch while ISIS continue to get richer and stronger. The next 9/11 will be financed and carried out by ISIS. Instead of being proactive, we will react after the disaster.
