When I wrote you back in December, GB's price posting policy (in FAQ 16) was clearly, and had been for years, to post card prices as primary, using the Comments for cash prices or discounts. This was to keep consumers using cards (which are still in the majority, especially in light of escalating prices) the disappointment of finding a higher price than posted.
They recently (about a month ago) flip-flopped this policy, resulting in mass confusion, as there was NO announcement, note in 'What's New", statement of posting policy to new members, etc., etc.

As a result, I have revamped my entire 'Favorites' list to reflect Cash Price with the ACTUAL Card Price in the Comments, as some stations in my area do NOT use a set margin for card prices, apparently trying give a further illusion of being 'competitive'. I also label ALL stations with SAME PRICE policy as such, as they are usually the fairest price in their areas, with no surprises.
Stations charging 10¢/gallon (sometimes more!) are clearly gouging, as most CC trans. are approx. 2.5% of the total. Do the math.

I thought the site was about posting the BEST gas prices. The best gas prices are the CASH prices. If someone goes to a gas station and wants to use a debit/credit card shouldn't they expect to pay more? Credit prices are typically higher than cash. I think the cash prices reflect the best prices available. Just my humble opinion. Seasons Greetings!

Seasons Greetings and, yes there is an issue on GB about posting cash vs. credit prices. However in Central NJ Cash is king and New Jersey prices need to reflect this. What is your opinion?

...Since you're relatively new here, you may not be aware of the site owner's preferred method of price posting (which can be found stated in FAQ # 16):

"Most consumers use debit or credit cards when making purchases. We've had far too many complaints from people stating they've gone to a station only to find out they had to pay more than what was quoted on our site, because the price posted was the
CASH price."

" That said, please post the CREDIT/DEBIT price BEFORE the cash discount when possible."

" You can still provide the cash price (itself), but please enter that information in the 'Comments' field."
