Our current mailman is the only white mailmanat this post office. He is starting next he will be working a route that has apartment that requires walking. He told me that the postman that is working this has health issures and cannot walk that is required on that route. The change will take place next week. I hate that our current mailman has been very dependable.

you hit the nail on the head, there are times when a large truck is the only thing that will work. i am in the same boat though i no longer live in the country. good post and keep the common sense coming. some people just don't get it.
