I finally found the MT. Washington EV record run. Very impressive! Can there be any doubt that the future is going to be electric?? Sept. is starting out great got a 20.8 kwh day 2 days ago. Back from a big road trip. Saw many things like miles of frakking sites in ND :( and the first nat gas refueling station. But there is beginning to be a lot of EV charging stations. Many high end motels have them now. I saw a bunch and only one Nat gas refueling station have I seen all over the US.

As you say, Joe, it's odd how bird or bat deaths seem to be overestimated in some places but underestimated in others, if not completely overlooked. Just happy to help some hard numbers be seen instead!

Hi Joe...I don't know, and I don't care!! :)) Good to hear from you!!

Yes, I agree, it'll be interesting to see what improvements there'll be for storage solutions!

Hey, Joe! -- Loved the video link!! -- "Climb to the Clouds" is quite accurate & fun! Mt. Washington in NH is quite gorgeous, but I was a little surprised at the lack of guardrails on the way up. Would love to visit there one day and drive that course myself! Not quite that fast, though, Lol! The driver even resembled you, too. Was it you? : )

I want to see something really exciting!!

Sorry it's a day late, but thanks for the comments on offshore wind. I agree, it would be nice to see some competition to the fossil fuel industry!

Neat Car...60mph is fast enough on that road!

Interesting and thanks for the information. Have a Great Day and be Safe. David

You're right. And fewer moving parts indeed. But all of the emissions are at the end of a coal fired plant, or the nuclear plant - which provides all of the electricity to charge all of those disposable batteries!
