Joe: The (global now) politicians are the problem here - and *that's* the real problem!

The story:

From that same story: The foundation passed those millions along to some of the nation’s most prominent and politically active environmentalist groups. The Sierra Club, the Natural Resource Defense Council, Food and Water Watch, the League of Conservation Voters, and the Center for American Progress were among the recipients of Sea Change’s $100 million in grants in 2010 and 2011.

Joe...check this out: Jan 27, 2015: Foreign Firm Funding U.S. Green Groups Tied to State-Owned Russian Oil Company Executives at a Bermudan firm funneling money to U.S. environmentalists run investment funds with Russian tycoons A shadowy Bermudan company that has funneled tens of millions of dollars to anti-fracking environmentalist groups in the United States is run by executives with deep ties to Russian oil interests and offshore money laundering schemes involving members of President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle.

Joe - In 2010, the United Nations proposed a “global levy on livestock methane emissions,” or as the press dubbed it, “the fart tax.” This didn’t pass… but it is something that has continued to be discussed.

We've had recycling bins her for >25 yrs. And the scrappers ALWAYS existed here. So recycling here was low, perhaps, but never zero. In the early 1960's, our neighborhood - led by the B.S.A., recycled all colors of glass, newspapers & magazines. Did that for 45 yrs. More of it goes on than U realize Joe:) ~drill'

That's OK Joe. We can agree 2 disagree:) If I really believed this & acted accordingly, I would tell my children to stay single & not reproduce. But I'm doing just the opposite ~ "be fruitful & multiply & fill the earth" is my belief. C02 implies life, growth, productivity & industry for what I can see. BTW - those KWH production hrs ought to B on the rise - think spring! ~ drill'

Joe - Pollution is Political, Joe. When the EPA defined CO2 as a "pollutant" (sic) a few short years ago, it was clear to many that politics would rule any reasoning or clear headed discussions on this topic from there on out. Let me clarify. In reality, C02 is *not* a 'pollutant'. ~drill'.
