We're up by 32 cents a gallon at quite a few stations now since last Sunday. The 2nd round of increases started yesterday as I had expected, still ongoing today. The 3rd is coming up, here and most everywhere.

Also, Russian is threatening to cut off the supply once again, especially to the Ukraine this time.

by LanguageMan1  Mar 04, 2014

Actually it was Russia threatening to shut it off. But, nonetheless, yes, you're right about them being #2 in oil and a big supplier of natural gas. Europe won't do a thing, nor will the US and like I've told others, the Ukraine and it's leaders don't have a backbone either, just like most of Eastern Europe. I'm American, but I'm Slovak, Russian, Ukrainian and Hungarian [along with a couple of others minutely], so it really bugs me what Putin did. However, if I was the leader of the Ukraine, when Russia mobilized the other day, I would have done the same, then I would have moved some troops around the country as well as placed ships at various points. When Russia would have tried to cross the border, I would have given the command to take out their positions, and we would have started war. It's BS moving into another country that isn't yours, just like it was when they moved into Georgia. But, we'll see what happens.

I wish I could have told everyone yesterday. Couldn't make it online other than to post prices in the morning. Sorry.

I'd get gassed up now as it's going up more.

by LanguageMan1  Mar 03, 2014

you’d have seen a return of in excess of 10k to 15k already, and remember it takes money to make it. This is NOT the work of speculators, as speculators are hoping for a good return and do not move markets up, it’s those with the big money that are at work MANIPULATING it higher, and the media with their news reports only helps the manipulators to make more and for us to have less. This is going to make diesel and natural gas go up a well, along with food prices and most all other goods, as it takes fuel to move it all. Looks like Obama and all his buddies and socialists and communist admirers and lovers are going to get their wishes fulfilled of us having to pay more for fuel, as we might even see the price of gas at over $4.25 a gallon in California, Alaska and Hawaii for the lower prices and Canada will probably see $1.29 a liter or more for it’s minimum. God help us all that are poor and middle and lower middle class, because they’ll only soak us more.

No, I have not seen that show as I don't have a TV to watch at night being homeless. For those of you who I told the price of gas was going to drop, forget it now. The downward trend has come to a halt if you haven’t already noticed. All the stations around here that had dropped by two to 20 cents a gallon are now up by as much as 14 cents a gallon as of this writing. A few are up a bit more above their previous highs. The price of gas is already up by over 25 cents a gallon on the wholesale markets, and that price increase hasn’t truly hit the pumps just yet, so you can expect another 15 to 25 cents a gallon up, possibly as much as 35 cents a gallon or more, depending upon what it does today. The trend this morning pointed up sharply with heavy volume in trading, so the manipulators are well at work and the regular investors who bought into it on Thursday and Friday looking for a gain really made out like bandits already. If you had the money to invest even 2k to 5k like some did,
