"If the idea is a good one, it should not need ANY federal, state or municipal monies to prop it up, it should be able to stand on its own! The only thing I could see, is a low interest LOAN if their credit were good enough, this should be enough! It really doesn't need any subsidies, and they've been selling it in stores for seven to 10 years or more in some places. Some folks were making their own and selling it 20+ years ago when gas was much cheaper. It's sold for about the same price as pump diesel, and those making it do it for less than $2 a gallon most of the time. Just like ethanol could be less than $2.50 a gallon at the pump now, but they won't do it right or allow it to happen.
