Hey computernut2008, have a great Labor Day and week ahead.

by LanguageMan1  Jun 13, 2014

I don't envy you, but make sure you fill up down there in Tennessee as they're cheaper than we are now and should be for the next couple of weeks at least. You might get it for 50 cents a gallon less than what it is around you. I get a discount of 30 cents a gallon all the time though from Kmart and Sears and if I go to Winn-Dixie, I can get it for under $2 a gallon at times. Try Kroger or someone for the discounts and get over to Kmart or Sears for that when they've got something on sale. Make use of the lower price with the sale and get the discount for gas.

Hey, nut, bad news my friend, thought you might like to know, our mutual friend, Dennis, 1cheapgasin from Indianapolis Gas Prices is no longer with us. He passed away yesterday afternoon about 3:30. He had double pneumonia, blood clots, and 2 fungus in his lungs. His wife Jane informed me. Forgive me if I don't write much. He was one of my better friends from here and in life. He was a REAL GOOD guy. I will miss him. Martin

I just got this from LanguageMan: "Thought you might like to know. Our mutual friend, Dennis, 1cheapgasin from Indianapolis Gas Prices is no longer with us. Just wait until they pass more gas taxes around the country, raise it at the Federal level and then add on the mileage taxes or fees they're going to come up with and more still. You haven't seen anything yet, and keep in mind they want more money and they want us to pay more. That's Obama, most of his administration, the EPA, many Democrats, quite a few Republicans, extreme environmentalists [mind you, I'M A GREENIE, or a TREE-HUGGER!, but I'm a REALIST first and foremost and I don't want to pay $5 for a loaf of bread or more or the same or more for a gallon of gas. That doesn't NEED to happen to get us to go greener.], Big Oil, OPEC, etc. They WANT gas to be $5 a gallon and more, even up the the $14 a gallon mark. At $14 a gallon, milk, bread and a dozen eggs would ALL be over $8 each. Most couldn't afford it.

Oh come on! Who would you be saying such a thing about? Our politicians? Business leaders? Religious leaders? All of the above? Maybe even the ultra-wealthy? Then I'd have to agree and say you're right!

Glad you liked it along with everyone else. We ALL needed a good laugh. Now, bad news, if the price of gas isn't already up there in your area, it will be soon. We were in a downward trend, but it looks like it's come to a halt. I'm guessing you'll see $3.72 as the average or more there soon. We had three or four stations down to $3.13 a gallon, now they're back up to $3.33 and $3.35 a gallon. The last one just went back up yesterday. One station in Miami is already $3.89 a gallon. I'd get gassed up now as it's going up more. I wish I could have told everyone yesterday, but I couldn't make it online other than to post prices in the morning. Sorry.
