I can see we may may not agree on the toyota issue and that is all right. We are entitled to our own opinions. I can also see we are very much in agreement about the federal government intervention and I agree that Obama and his fellow Obamanites are putting this country On a very slippery slope. That being said , I am not really sure of the Republican party motives either But they have to be better than what we are getting now. I hope that Cruz will get the nod for the up coming election.

Sorry forgot a word, thinking faster than typing, I for one think that we should NOT have used tax dollars to pay for bad deals made by bankers or manufactures.

by devildog66  Apr 20, 2014

So if GM (Government Motors Had such a bad cash flow problem then why did Ford say we do not want your dollars? I for one think that we should have used tax dollars to pay for bad deals made by bankers or manufactures. It was just a big pay back scheme for Obama and his Obamanites.

i never said ford was bad, but g.m. sucks bad.. thats why 2 top people the c.e.o. @ an vice president bailed out, lol

by FocusGuy  Apr 20, 2014

If you or I had been "caught" as you put it the gov would not bail our butts out. o.b did it to cuddle up with his union buddies

by devildog66  Apr 20, 2014

It is obvious to me that you are all for GM (Government Motors), what about the plants they have in Canada for years? Is that money staying in the USA? I for one feel GM should have been left to fail or stand on their own. If you or I make bad business deals who bails us out? The big three have assembly plants all over the world just as the Japanese do.

That may have been due to the redo of the Camaro.

Have been to Mackinac Island many times, a person wants to believe life can be so simple. Have also been to Woodstock, Ill. where 'Groundhog Day' was filmed. Keep me informed on your choice of a new Volt. I have driven everything from a Yugo to a third of a million dollar Ferrari and everything in between. (I still like the H2 Hummer although no one would want to own a H1 unless your a midget---very, very tight seating.) Drive on!

"My 2008 Chevy Volt LTZ 6 cyl. is one of the few cars that has never had a recall! Yeah!"--Fantastic. I have driven the Volt and was amazed. What I said was 'show me a 'MANUFACTURER' that hasn't had a recall. Have a nice day and ride happy.

Hey Detfan I am not an Obama fan but don't believe that GM has paid back the full amount of the bailout as they promote. They have not. And if they are making the billons they talk about and justifying the huge bonuses they are giving. That was on my dime. It is time to pay me back! They need to pay back all of the bond holders and stock holders that were wiped off.
