Seat belts in buses. There is a very big difference between as bus and your car. School buses are built much stronger and safer then cars. Yes the bus driver needs a seat belt so he/she is not thrown out of the drivers eats, but the children are safer without them. Moist cars or even small trucks are no where as safe as a school bus. There are many problems with having seat belts in school buses. One is enforcement of there use as a belt. Second is the use of the belt buckle as a weapon. And many more. Safety of our children is important and studies have shown they are safer without the saet belts!
