RE tramguy: U.K. scientist J.Lovelock is complaining about the term 'climate change' ..is such a thing happening? But he misses the point and doesn't mention we just had the warmest year ever recorded. Doesn't he know. See http://www.livescience.com/ 50189-warmest-winter-2015. Australia also has just had its hottest 12 months on record. In Australia, between August and November 2013, over 100 wildfires raged. As well check http://climate.nasa.gov/ 9 of the 10 warmest years ever recorded in US have been since 1998. I take it Lovelock can no longer read because he doesn't mention any of that. It sure seems our weather is changing whatever you call it. The Lovelock item you mentioned is http://www.inquisitr.com/1234575/nasa-scientist-global-warming-is-nonsense/

Thanks! I'll have another interesting story tonight that you might like Old Buddy. I'm retired, too. I worked at a weekly newspaper where I did a lot of editing. I started out as a Linotype operator.

Hello, Apparently Volvos as well as Audis and the Acura Vigor use(d) 5-cylinder engines...

I've had a similar problem with my two Audi's. It was impossible to get the aluminum rims separated from the dissimilar metallic hub. I was told by several mechanics to apply brake anti-seize to the wheel/hub interface of each wheel. This is supposed to prevent corrosion from freezing the two together. This should work in cold and warmer weather.

Leave it up to a retired editor to demonstrate signs of critical thinking in his remark asking why the U.S. President is personally responsible for cleaning up a pollution problem created by a multi-national oil company. Please post more remarks like this. Perhaps your voice will be heard by a few, despite the clamor. Thank you for your good works.
