Noticed your post on your dad's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I've lost friends the same way and in my research on this and related subjects a bit of adjustment in the yellow timing would help reduce the toll.

I'm guessing you'll see $3.82 a gallon or more in your area soon. We had three or four stations down to $3.13 a gallon, now they're back up to $3.33 and $3.35 a gallon. The last one just went back up about an hour or so ago. I'd get gassed up now as it's going up more. I wish I could have told everyone yesterday, but I couldn't make it online other than to post prices in the morning. Sorry.

you’d have seen a return of in excess of 10k to 15k already, and remember it takes money to make it. This is NOT the work of speculators, as speculators are hoping for a good return and do not move markets up, it’s those with the big money that are at work MANIPULATING it higher, and the media with their news reports only helps the manipulators to make more and for us to have less. This is going to make diesel and natural gas go up a well, along with food prices and most all other goods, as it takes fuel to move it all. Looks like Obama and all his buddies and socialists and communist admirers and lovers are going to get their wishes fulfilled of us having to pay more for fuel, as we might even see the price of gas at over $4.25 a gallon in California, Alaska and Hawaii for the lower prices and Canada will probably see $1.29 a liter or more for it’s minimum. God help us all that are poor and middle and lower middle class, because they’ll only soak us more.

For those of you who I told the price of gas was going to drop, forget it now. The downward trend has come to a halt if you haven’t already noticed. All the stations around here that had dropped by two to 20 cents a gallon are now up by as much as 14 cents a gallon as of this writing. A few are up a bit more above their previous highs. The price of gas is already up by over 25 cents a gallon on the wholesale markets, and that price increase hasn’t truly hit the pumps just yet, so you can expect another 15 to 25 cents a gallon up, possibly as much as 35 cents a gallon or more, depending upon what it does today. The trend this morning pointed up sharply with heavy volume in trading, so the manipulators are well at work and the regular investors who bought into it on Thursday and Friday looking for a gain really made out like bandits already. If you had the money to invest even 2k to 5k like some did...

Good! I use the discounts for others as I don't have a vehicle or license at the moment. I get 'em from a grocery chain [Winn-Dixie] as well as Kmart. Sometimes others. Hell, yesterday I wen to Big Lots and beat everyone. They had 20% off of everything. Saved about $10 versus shopping at Walmart. More money in my pocket, and I sure needed it and the food I picked up along with the other stuff.

cost money and it'll take time, but it's worth it if I'm going to keep a vehicle for another six months to three years or more. If I have the money, I'll get even more mileage out of other models. Been doing it since I was a kid, so no one can tell me I can't do it or that it can't be done or that the laws of physics won't allow it.

I've heard that a few times too often. Shop around for better prices, use the discounts available through retailers. I just did for one of my local gas buddies and he was able to get his gas for $1.93 a gallon. Sometimes I can get a 30 cent discount, other times 50 cents, other times more and I try to let someone use it. If it's able to beat the prices by 10 to 30 cents a gallon even at Costco, then it's usually worth it, especially if you're saving money on top of it with what you're buying to get the discount. I bought things at a lower price than Walmart, and that's how I was able to get the discount. I know one guy that got his gas for $1.45 a gallon, someone else that got it for $1.67 and someone else that got it for $.99 a gallon! That's right, 99 cents a gallon. Only 18 gallons of it, but that's a nice discount. On top of that, if I was driving, I wouldn't be getting whatever everyone else gets for mileage, I'd be getting 25 to 75% better mileage by modifying my vehicle. It'll..
