What's the point? Can't drive these cars anywhere where you can use the horsepower. Waste of money.

I don't think I could make the transition to these cars from a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic, nor could I afford to. I did drive all the "muscle cars" of the 1960s while working in a garage. At 18-19 years old that was quite a thrill :-) ! MGY

For those of you who don't like this idea, that's too bad that you'll never have the thrill of driving a real car.

A senseless waste of gasoline which just increases demand and drives up prices. Otherwise irrelevant to this forum.

People know a lot of HP takes a lot of gas, comes with the territory. Anyone buying high HP cars isn't too worried about gas.. I'm also sure they're not their primary vehicles...they probably have a few they can drive to Wal Mart or whatever. Cars like those aren't being driven tens of thousands of miles in their life.
