The last thing any driver needs is a vehicle that breaks down in cold, harsh winter weather. A vehicle check before the temperatures drop is a sensible way to avoid the inconvenience of being stranded out in the cold and with the unexpected expense of emergency repairs.Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/fox-friends-weekend/content/word-wise-winterize#ixzz2GdahIkVD

It's absolutely the best advice, get good winter tires unless you live Southern Arizona, Texas, Florida etc. Here in Canada everyone needs to winterize.

The best winterize for any vehicle is being parked in a garage overnight.

Also, in 2013, exactly what is a "tune up"? No points, no condenser, no distributor, plug wires, rotor or cap..
