Fracking for gas is taking over the country. I sure hope it all works out favorably. We’re going to be in deep doodoo if the critics are right and the toxic fluids contaminate the water supply. Oil and gas are good and useful products but clean water is essential to life. It will be a bad tradeoff if we gain a great gas supply and have no water that is safe to drink.

This along with other energy ideas should help free us from some of the use of oil. Also all ethanol does not have to come from CORN, the corn lobbyists just convinced us of that long ago. We can try potatoes and sugar cane that produce more than corn.

Do you even know any "greenies", @gasokie? They make pretty convenient scapegoats but that image is very far from the truth.
I'll take natural gas over coal, any day of the week. Just don't get greedy and cut corners on the fracking.
