Costs of Falling Off The Fiscal Cliff? What Me Worry! Better Yet! – Go Take A Flying Leap For All I Care! Higher taxes coming, Stop Sneeky from spending more and more money than what is available and having the taxpayers pay for his 'Spending Gone Wild' attitude. 'Coming Out of the Closet' Sneeky's lousy, smoke and mirrors, lack of jobs, dog and pony show and in the crapper economy, the jobs are Not here. Sneeky's economy is not improving but continues to hurt the population and the job numbers continue to be down! Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! XII/XXII/MMXII! - The Day After......

But none of the cuts will reduce the perks of the legislators who are not willing to do what is necessary to avoid the fiscal cliff, they still get their health care and their lifelong pension for only serving as little as two years. No wonder they do not care.

One could hope for lower gas prices, but the oil companies will find a way to get higher profits.

Anyone think we can spend ourself out of debt, besides DC??? If yes do it on your dime...
I'm not a big fan of higher tax for anyone, but you should pay the taxes at your rate, so stop all the loop holes and pay that rate...
Only one way to fix DC, term limits...

Recent history tells me that as soon as they decide the outcome of the Fecal Cliff they will vote themselves a vacation!
I wondered why $400k is the magic number for taxes so I did a little research. The average congressman salary will increase to $174,900 in 2013. Consider spousal and investment income and they probably exceed Obama's $250k pretty fast. That's why they want the limit raised to $400k. This will ensure they can make more without a tax increase.
I wish I had it so good and I have a better than average job earning a little over $21/hour.

We need to fire congress. If a deal isn't met, then I will lose my house. Barely getting by, I can't afford any higher expenses such as in taxes.

There was just an election and the American people voted to keep the same government in power that set-up the Fiscal Cliff. America gets the government it voted for. America voted for Obama and he'll drive the bus over the cliff while pointing at anybody else.

The prices are ridiculous. The president and congress need to get their act together. This could define his presidency.

Gas, oil and food prices should drop off the same fiscal cliff given that demand is going down.

If my team of employees would take this long to make a solution, our butts would be in a sling. We have deadlines, we have due dates. We have to make an obligation to make the customers happy and make the product work. My solution, stop voting these morons into Congress. I am not pointing fingers at just my President, I am pointing at everyone. Democrats stop bickering, Republicans, shut up. Get it written up and make agreements, make compromises. Make cuts, cut spending. Simple, they have had 12 months to figure this out. This Congress does not need anymore.

Gas prices are going down but we will end at the same price or worse in the end.

If we wanted to get serious about our problems then we need to start here, 10% spending cuts across the board in every aspect of government, and modest tax increases across the board as well. But we have crooks and dummies as are leaders of choice so we have dug are own grave.
