There is some question to this information. Is the corn crop was so low this year, why is the ethanol price going down? This may be a chance the sellers could have too the buyers in confidence, wich is not true.

If the blenders (big oil Companies) would use sugar cane Ethanol which is $.40 cents per gallon less than corn Ethanol we would get a decrease in gasoline prices and food prices would drop also. But of course its not about what is good for the people but how much greed can big Corporations extract from the public without actually killing them.

With the drought and lower corn yields, I don't understand why so much ethanol was produced...

There needs to be a wider price difference between gasoline and E85.

corn prices are slumping at a low demand? since when? Didn't we just have a shortage due to poor weather, and lack of rain. Did they find something else to gorge the beef cows with? Hmmm...

Nothing beats gasoline for BTU/gal and until the pricing is where people are forced away to gasoline, nothing will change.

This is when they try to push E15, in order to try to boost the demand.

Ethanol seems to be fuel that people just don' want. Maybe we should build machines that can run more efficiently on ethanol or quit making the stuff.

Very stupid to use a food crop instead of something otherwise useless like Switch Grass.

Sugar Cane is a much better supplement to gasoline than corn and is not an important food item unless your hooked on Kellogs' Frosted Flakes (Used to called Sugar Frosted Flakes.) in which case we can distill pine trees.
