Ford to invest $773 million across southeast Michigan

Chicago Tribune -- Ford Motor Co plans to invest more than $773 million on new equipment and capacity expansions across six manufacturing facilities in southeast Michigan in the United States.

The investment plan is part of its commitment to invest $6.2 billion in U.S. plants by 2015, the automaker said early on Thursday.

Good cars, Good trucks, Good sales, Good for Michigan, Good for the local workers - Invest in the US and wait for the 'returns' to roll in. Michigan is a right to work state - cheaper labor to be had. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, vehicle manufactures Produce and the population ‘Drives’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
