With the economy in sad shape nationwide, wonder if this will help GM very much?

Start building quality cars, test them exhaustively and rigorously to ensure your mistakes don't get pawned off on the American public, back up your product, and quit lying to the American people about how you've paid off your bailout money early...because you didn't. And that's just for starters. As for me, they've lost me for LIFE. Never again.

A small improvement for the Austin area. America needs for this to happen nationwide.

This is not even a drop in the bucket. This wouldn't be news if it wasn't for Obozo's claim of saving the US Auto Industry. GM still owes tax payers 25 BILLION.

Creating??? -- As in, NOT YET CREATED or IMPLEMENTED???
How about a nice article update AFTER the new IT center is built, and people have been hired for these new positions, huh?
News articles based on fact about what has actually occurred is MUCH preferable to a "guestimation" or extrapolation of new positions being planned.
And anyway, this won't help reduce high gas prices!
Prices just spiked up .42 cents here! Now we're at $4.09 a gallon!!

Let's hear of some big organization opening in California. Oh, yeah, we have rules that enourge more big organizations to move out of the state than into it.

Not many jobs but a step in the right direction. GM however is all about window dressing.
