Gas prices back on the rise

TAMPA (FOX 13) -- Just when gas prices finally seemed to be heading in the right direction, they've suddenly shot back up, overnight. According to GasBuddy.com, the average price for regular unleaded today is $3.16 a gallon.

That's up five cents from Thursday, when it was $3.11 a gallon. Prices in some areas of the bay shot-up almost a quarter overnight, which was a knee-jerk reaction, AAA reports.

And, just like in real estate, prices will vary, depending on location, location, location.

"I would not call it a spike," said Jessica Brady with AAA Tampa. "I would say there are some stations throughout the Tampa Bay area that maybe got a little optimistic about where crude oil prices were headed last week."

So, prices shot back up, just a bit.

"However, the average across Tampa Bay,

If the price of gas aint going down it's going up. And if it aint going up, it's going down. Funny how that works eh?

Not surprising. Need to keep the economy on perpetual life support. Let energy fall too low and the economy will take off. Raise it too high and you will sharply cut demand. It is an "interesting" game the oil traders play trying to extract the most amount of money from the population without outright choking them off.

There are some things for certain: Death, Taxes and the rise of fuel prices.
Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

A 20 cent spike in 2 weeks. At 2.72 comex wholesale, you can figure most areas will be 2.22-2.27.As long as IRAN is rattling it's sabers speculators will cost us money. They're greedier then the oil companies.

Gee I am sure glad this article spelled out the obvious truth that I see at the pumps. A 20cts spike atop a 20cts spike.

Now we are 20cts above the US avg.

Specu-traitors are at it again.
