Governors Press Detroit To Make Natural Gas Vehicles

Forbes -- The governors of Oklahoma and Colorado, two states with a vested interest in the natural gas industry, were in Detroit Monday, making the case for why U.S. automakers should produce more natural gas vehicles.

Repeat post, but it bears repeating.

There are already many "do it yourself" conversion kits available on the market. Anyone with a little more than a basic understanding of engine and some tools can do the conversion in their own garage.

So why isn't Detroit offering more?

The more demand the higher the price for the natural gas will be. Not a panacea.

"That's all well and good, but it takes special training to do natural gas and propane when filling the tank."

Could this mean a return to full service?
