As difficult as it is to do, everyone has to get together in going after BP in the civil suits. The old adage "united we stand, divided we fall" applies.

Trust in all the MS, LA, and AL politicians to join the 1% if they are not there already! Thank you BP, TransOcean, and Halliburton.

This isn't hurting BP in the stockmarket - at least not today. The price per share increased $1.20 and that's a pretty good increase. It could 'adjust' tomorrow and drop a bit but if this were bad news for shareholders they would be dumping stock and the price would be dropping like a rock.

From the article:

"About 30 percent of the funds would be divided based on the extent of damage, and another 30 percent would go to creating and carrying out a comprehensive master plan covering the entire Gulf Coast."

++++++++++++++++

Hopefully so.
