When will politicians listen? Ethanol is NOT popular. Except to the farmers and of course their very powerful lobby.

There is NO question e15 will damage engines... shoot E10 is doing so... so why should 15 even be considered.

It is disturbing to find myself agreeing with the API but this is a no-brainer. Ethanol is a three-way loser. It would be super if these groups have enough clout to get the RFS overturned as well as the E15 rule. We can all cheer for Big Oil just this once.

CORN = SUGAR. as a food it offers very little nutrition. fiber and sugar. its cheap sugar that's all. E85 = 20% less Mpg.
but logic is rarely in reality . the government/the rich will always tell us sheep-people what to do. as they shove it down your throat

Ironic. The food industry is complaining about the higher price of corn for their factory-farmed animals, but generally those animals shouldn't be eating corn products (and byproducts) at all. It's not their natural, healthy diet and the products that come from these corn-fed animals is making people sick.
Profit trumps common sense daily.
Oh, and yeah, I'm not keen to see higher-ethanol fuels forced on my vehicle that's not designed for it. Great for systems designed to withstand it, but I can't afford repairs brought on by political foolishness...

ETOH is a good fuel in a motor that is designed for it. We produce enough food for this country but we have a distribution problem. ETOH mixed into fuels for motors not intended to burn it is a bad idea promulgated by the government. The food distribution problem is made worse by politics. Get the gummint out of the picture.

could not agree more-but i also like ot point out do these groups actually still feed corn to their livestock. : ) really? according to one news stations i watched they dont feed corn to cows and other livestock because they were not designed by God to eat corn/whole grains. they were designed ot eat guess what.......grasses. bugs, worms,so on and so on. it is the industry of livestock growers who feed them corn to fatten up their profits/livestock .......just wanted to point out some of the white lies both sides are telling U.S. about meat prices and corn prices and fuel prices.:) knowledge is power and now you know the rest of the story. gi joe or walter kronkite. : ) hahahahahah

There is no choice. E10 is everywhere up here. No plain old gasoline anymore. But I'm sure it doesn't do any good for the engine. AND it doesn't get as many mpg as plain old gas.

my car runs like crap on regular gas, if i put premium in it it purrs and i get 40-75 more miles on a tank full depending on city/highway driveing. its worth the extra $6-$8 fill up.

Ethanol or flex fuel vehicles are not the problem in the future as we all change up, the problem is that we let it all come from CORN, that has to change.

An example of businesses caring about their customers.
And as for everybody knowing that corn ethanol sucks. That of course excludes most of the bureaucrats and politicians in WashingtonDC. Most in WashingtonDC think E-15 is great, or our scared to stand up against E-15. Otherwise the E-15 crap would be scraped on behalf of consumers best interests.
