National Clean Energy Summit 5.0: The Power of Choice Illustrates Clean Energy Progress

PR Newswire -- The 5th annual National Clean Energy Summit will once again put Nevada center stage in the national discussion on creating a clean energy economy, and with good reason. Since the first National Clean Energy Summit in 2008 Nevada has seen a boom in clean energy and is now producing nearly 4-and-a-half times the amount of clean megawatts it was just four years ago.

With solar, wind and geothermal projects popping up across the Silver State, Nevada is currently producing 1,150 megawatts of clean energy; enough to power tens of thousands of homes. Clean energy may not replace all the petroleum we use. With decreased US demand for oil, we could chose to be an oil exporter.

Wonder how much the rates have gone up, but that does not matter cause if you can't afford it, just move somewhere else that you can.
